We've been developing Internet job boards for most of the last decade, so we've seen the industry grow with tens of thousands of websites now listing jobs. Job-specific search engines such as Indeed, HotJobs and SimplyHired, have made it easier, but the average job-seeker still finds it challenging to manage the online job-hunting process.

myjobtips was conceived as a way to manage the entire job-finding process by providing one convenient site to bookmark all the interesting job ads, share them with friends, monitor their status, and record action items and reminders. Soon we plan to add more features such as mapping and job search tips. Job sites exist primarily to serve employers and market their jobs. But myjobtips' only mandate is to empower the job-seeker. Our goal is help the you find the best possible job in the shortest time with the least effort.

One powerful means to this end is the job-seeking community. During a job search, the average job-seeker may research hundreds of jobs and only accept one position. On myjobtips, we want to build a community to share your research of the other 99% of jobs with other job seekers. Over time, as myjobtips builds a significant job-seeking community to 'job intelligence' without invading members' privacy, it will become the leading tool in a job-seeker's toolkit.

Do we have all the answers? Far from it. But as the job-seekers' job-site, we're waiting to hear from you about the best ways to empower the job-seeker. Together we're smarter.

That's why.
