Find a job anywhere on the internet
With
myjobtips any job posting, anywhere on the internet, can be added to your personal
MyJobs list.
Look for jobs through your usual job boards, company websites, through a search engine, etc. When you locate a job you're interested in, add it to your personal MyJobs list to organize and take control of your application process. You can then track jobs from a variety of sources in just one place,
myjobtips.
Click to add the job to myjobtips
There are three ways to add a job to your job search on
myjobtips, but the first is the easiest and most useful.
- The easiest and most powerful way to add the job is to use a "browser button", which is a special link in the toolbar of your web browser. With a browser button, whenever you find a job online, click the button and a popup window will open to allow you to save the job to your MyJobs list. Quick, simple, and you'll never lose the momentum of your job search.
Click here to create your Browser Button!
- Click on the add job link available in your
MyJobs list. You will arrive at a form where you input the address
of the job, along with a description or job title, some tags to make your job list more useful for yourself,
and some notes about the job.
- You can also receive a job from another myjobtips user. The job will appear in your Inbox, and then you can choose to add it to your MyJobs list or ignore it.
Use our tools to manage the job
Once you've added a job to
myjobtips, it then resides on your
MyJobs list, with the tags and notes that you created when
you added it – now you are well on your way to managing your job search with a few clicks.
In your MyJobs list, you can:
- Set reminders for yourself for important appointments or follow-up with employers.
- Track events so you know to whom you have spoken and what efforts you've already made.
- Add notes to the job to help you remember important details.
- Send jobs to friends who may be interested in the opportunity.
- Flag the job as taken or dead, so that no one else wastes their time applying for it (if they have the same job listed in their MyJobs list, it will be updated with a note that the job is no longer available).
